From the 1948 Film Portrait of Jennie: Cab driver Gus O Toole is checking out his cab at the end of the evening, and talking with his friend Eben Adams, a painter who is late on his rent and only has a few dollars in his pocket.
Adams had to paint, and I have to write. And this ladies and gentlemen is the beginning of my blog about what it will be like to write my second novel. I’m thinking now about three letters. Yup, three letters will figure prominently in my next novel.
