Robert Rickman and Nancy Herzog are the only two authors who have ever written novels about Southern Illinois University since the multiple campus, research institution, was chartered in 1869.
First, it is becoming increasingly evident that self publishing is the way to go for new authors. But what about after the book is written? How are readers going to find it?
I talked with fellow author Nancy Herzog, about the need for a strong marketing program after the book is published.
Both novels were written about the roaring 70’s at SIU, known as the Berkeley of the Midwest.
